Ruffle bracelets: a must-have!

The final touch to your outfit, the bracelet adorns your wrist in a subtle or extravagant way. Gemme jewellers, who specialise in second-hand jewelry creations, offer you second-hand gold bracelets from all eras, including the unmissable bangle bracelets.

The bangle bracelet, elegance on your wrist

The rush bracelet differs from the mesh bracelet in its rigidity. Open and without a clasp, or closed as a ring, it slips onto your wrist as the centrepiece of your ensemble or in combination with other bracelets. Thin and always elegant, it comes in a huge variety of styles. If you're a fan of minimalism, choose a smooth, classic bracelet in 18-carat yellow gold, delicately hammered or twisted.

For even more chic, opt for a thin band adorned with a discreet precious or semi-precious stone. On an open beaded bracelet, the ends of the jewel can be adorned with gems or engraved details. Browse our catalogue to find the full gold band bracelet that will match your 18-carat gold necklace perfectly!

Antique and contemporary full gold rush bracelets

Experts in second-hand jewelry and the history of the art of jewelry, Gemme Jewellers invites you to discover antique models of full gold rush bracelets.

The 19th and early 20th century pieces feature intricate and delicate details: chasing, engraving and stone inlay. If yellow gold predominates, you'll certainly be able to find a vintage white gold bangle bracelet whose brilliance contrasts with the green of emeralds or the red of rubies.

The Art Deco and Art Nouveau influences give rise to more imposing solid gold bangles, cuff bracelets, weekly diaries or extravagant pieces secured by a ratchet clasp.

Our 18-carat gold bangles also include iconic contemporary jewelry, such as the trio of rings in yellow, white and rose gold. The asymmetrical designs in diamond-encrusted white gold are also ideal for complementing a sober, modern outfit. Why not pair them with a matching pendant worn on a gold chain?

How do I choose the right size for a bangle bracelet?

Like a ring, a bangle bracelet forms a ring and can be created in different sizes. Too tight and it will be uncomfortable to wear. Too loose and it could get lost.

- Bangles are considered small when their inside diameter measures between 5.5 cm and 6 cm. They are therefore suitable for thin to medium wrists, up to 18 cm.

- With an inner diameter of 6 cm to 6.5 cm, a gold bangle bracelet is suitable for wrists measuring 18 cm to 20 cm in circumference.

- Larger bracelets, with a diameter of more than 6.5 cm and up to 7 cm, are suitable for people with a wrist circumference of 20 to 22 cm.

Unlike the rigid ring, the open band bracelet is generally adjustable. Wider bracelets can be chosen to be worn as an overlay.

At Gemme Jewellers, you can buy a second-hand 18-carat gold bangle bracelet for up to 60% less than its new value. All our bangles are meticulously checked and refurbished in our workshops. Stamped by an approved laboratory, they are delivered to you with their certificate of authenticity and guaranteed for 1 year.
